OTSF has initiated, organized and funded
many
activities
in Malta since 1994.
Lectures and mini-exhibitions in the USA
have included:
The Smithsonian Associates
The Meridian International Center
Various Colleges and Universities
|
OTSF began in 1994 with the operation of a program to
Malta for continuing education credit for the American Institute of
Architects. Soon after, we launched an in-depth and ongoing
course of educational travel for the non-profit Elderhostel/Exploritas
organization:
Lessons in Lifelong Learning. The 10-day Exploritas Malta
program ranks among the highest rated, for the richness of its content,
the quality of its presenters and the level of organization. In
cooperation with the University of Malta and experts in many fields of
specialty, OTSF continues to operate highly structured group programs
for Americans visiting Malta.
Over the years, we have been proud to watch the OTSF
goals for recognition of the temples in Malta materialize. They
have come to be appreciated for their incomparable value as World
Heritage and are now part of the curriculum in Malta's schools.
With help from UNESCO and the European Union, the monuments have been
documented and are receiving desperately needed conservation attention.
Scientific research continues.
Now it is time for OTSF to help
Americans at home learn more
about the world's first monumental architecture. See
for details. |
