There is no reason to attribute any of the achievements of the world's early civilizations to an alien presence. People then were every bit as intelligent as we are today and were fully capable of ingenuity and invention. We have the benefit of building on the learning of a long line of people who came before us. There were some differences. People in prehistory probably tended to think more in terms of cycles than the linear stream of beginning - middle - end that we are accustomed to. They were also more familiar with their environment and in tune with nature. In all of the Temple Period material, there has never been found any evidence of weapons, warfare or even defensive architecture.
