YEARS  AGO
The tallest single upright stone in the temples is about three times the height of an adult.

Like an army of ants, people combined their efforts and strengths to accomplish a common goal.  Long distances were probably covered by using timber rollers and harnessed oxen.

Once on site, huge ball-bearings of stone from about the size of a soccer ball to a large pumpkin were used to pivot the stones into position.  In some places, these balls can still be seen in place beneath the slabs.  Ropes were probably used to drag the big standing stones up earthen ramps and set them in place.

The people who built the temples must have had a sophisticated language for clear communication, along with forethought and planning.  They must have had strong leaders.
